A Night of Music at The Museum
Following on from their stunning performance in December 2020 as part of Norton Priory’s ‘Candlelit Christmas Concert’, we are delighted to welcome back the breath-taking Camira Wind Trio. Join us once again in the spectacular setting of Norton Priory’s Atrium for a celebration of Summer, with music specially selected to capture the essence of a beautiful summer’s evening.
Camira is a wind trio featuring Emily Doan (flute), Emma Haughton (clarinet) and Charlotte Curwen (bassoon). The trio met whilst studying as postgraduates at the Royal Northern College of Music and since then have performed in venues across the North West. They are known for their beautifully crafted, technically accomplished playing, played with a sense of verve and passion.
The trio formed in early 2018 and this concert will feature arrangements of some of classical music’s most recognised and beautiful works, as well as music especially composed for Wind Trio.
